General

Cruise North Raja Ampat on Teman Liveaboard – Ideal for snorkeling / scuba diving.

The last Eden on Earth, cruise the archipelago of Raja Ampat from 10 up to 14 days. The ideal period is from November until April.

Located off the Northwest tip of the Bird’s head peninsula in the indonesian west Papua province, Raja Ampat, or the Four King, is an archipelago comprising over 1500 small islands, cays, and shoals surrounding the four main island of Misool, Salawati, Batanta and Waigeo, and the smaller island of Kofiau.

According to Conservation International, marine surveys suggest that the marine life diversity in the Raja Ampat area is the highest recorded on Earth. Diversity is considerably greater than any other area sampled in the Coral Triangle composed of Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, and East Timor. The Coral Triangle is the heart of the world’s coral reef biodiversity, making Raja Ampat quite possibly the richest coral reef ecosystems in the world.

Julie’s Video:

1,508 fish species, 537 coral species ( 75% of all species that exist in the world), and 699 mollusk species, the variety of marine life is staggering. Some areas boast enormous schools of fish and regular sightings of sharks, such as wobbegongs.

Cruising and diving Raja Ampat, surrounding by its karst pinnacles, primary forest and white sand beaches, is a true unique experience.

From The famous Dampier Strait, to the islands of Penemu, the Aljui Bay, the stunning Wayag lagoon or the unbelievable Misool, The Lambo Liveaboard is bringing you in the best diving area.

Depending on the length of the cruise, we cruise in the South or in the North part or both of them.

I absolutely loved it! Teman live-aboard is officially my favorite liveaboard to cruise the Indonesian archipelago. Overall the itinerary has everything. From colorful marine life, to extraordinary waterfalls, stunning sceneries. The cabins are air conditioned and en-suite bathroom with hot water is always a plus. Cruising on a liveaboard is indescribable, the freedom is extreme! The guides are fabulous! Great value for money! Papua paradise! Visit!

That I want to go back every year now :)
